I'll keep the collection open for submissions until an hour or two before reveals, how about that? It's not much, but it still gives you almost an entire extra day to write, if you need it.
Remember that stories can be of any length, so if the one you're currently working on is getting away from you, there might still be time to whip up something shorter. Good luck!
