About a year ago I became a fan of Sean Pertwee, first seeing him as Alfred Pennyworth in "Gotham". When looking him up on youtube, I stumbled about a short lived British TV series from 1996 called "Bodyguards". There are only 7 episodes, here is the link to the pilot, the others should turn up at the side then: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WhKKY4SlLlI
It's a nice little series about bodyguards, as the title says, a new team set up, so they are still learning, and about the different people they have to protect, and I think you learn a thing or two about actually bodygard work, which may not be as glamorous as they show it in movies, especially when it affects their own families. Sean actually had SAS training for this role, which he still can use to this day for doing his stunts, and it's always great when an actor knows how to handle a gun convincingly.
I remember it was midnight when I found this, yet I couldn't stop watching, as I was mesmerized. One of those shows that makes me forgot to breathe. Especially episode 7 when they are in the countryside instead of the streets of London, and have to use all their knowledge to stay alive and ahead of their pursuers. I would have loved to watch more of it, or read any fanfiction, but alas...
