I've been plqying the "first in fandom" game for ages now. Hell, three quarters of what I write when I'm struggling to keep writing is things that don't have fandoms yet just because it amuses the crap out of me to create new and highly obscure fandoms.
I considered running an exchange with this premise where it'd be done like a fandom book exchange where everyone nominates things they want to see that don't have fandoms and provides a summary of them and you sign up offering to write something based on having read the summaries other people write and found something that looked like it'd be enjoyable new material for you.
If I did ever run something like this, would anyone be interested in participating?
