Hi, and welcome to the eleventh round of Be The First!

This is a low-pressure challenge to write a fic, of any length, for a fandom that previously had none. That's it! If you want to take part, just reply to this post :)

Quick rundown: You have two months to write. The deadline is at 23:59 GMT on the 20th of April, and the archive will go live at 00:01 GMT on the 22nd of April. You can submit up to four stories, as long as they are for different canons.

Oh wow! This is so cool!

I don't think I'll join this year, since it turns out the one fandom I did have in mind apparently actually does have two fanfictions?? They're both on fanfiction.net and are sorted under misc. Anime/Manga (hilarious to me, as Super Secret is a manhwa, and thusly neither of those things), so that disqualifies the only fandom I have in mind. Ah well, maybe next year I'll have something to write for.

Anyways~ Kudos to you for running this event! A challenge centered around creating for fandoms that have zero fics is a very cool concept!

Sorry to hear that your chosen fandom already has two fics (and that they're sorted in an erroneous category like that), though... Just to make sure: they were in English, not crossovers, and didn't have any other reason why they may not count? If so, I hope to see you again in a future round -- the next one up is the flash round in roughly half a year, so you at least won't have to wait till next year if you find another fandom to write for!

It took a while to track down either of them again (first time looking took like, over an hour, I'm not good at navigating ff.net) but at least one of them is in English and isn't a crossover, so yeah, definitely not able to be used for this event, sadly.

Ah well. There's always next time.

On that note, I am glad to hear that the next event won't be a full year a way! Maybe I'll find something to write for in the time before that event comes ☺️.

You aren't kidding when you say it's hard to find -- I actually went looking myself after I first replied to you, and it took me quite a while to find too. Anyway, I only saw one single fic, and it was written in a sort of sparse script format with only dialogue lines. That, coupled with the way it's buried in the wrong category, gives enough leeway for you to just go ahead and ignore it. I want this challenge to be fun and easygoing, and bending the rules a tiny bit isn't a big deal! (But don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to push you or anything, so if you'd rather wait then that's equally fine. It's totally up to you!)
