Hi, and welcome to the sixth round of Be The First!

This is a low-pressure challenge to write a fic, of any length, for a fandom that previously had none. That's it! If you want to take part, just reply to this post :)

Quick rundown: You have two months to write. The deadline is at 23.59 GMT on the 20th of April, and the archive will go live at 00.01 GMT on the 22nd of April. You can submit up to four stories (as per your votes last year), as long as they are for different fandoms.

If you'd like more information beyond those basic points, then you can find the FAQ right here. The AO3 collection for this year is here, and I'll be putting up a fandom promo post in roughly a week.

Also working on something for Lacuna by N.R. Walker--a romantic fantasy novel about two kings who are unexpectedly forced together by what is essentially a soul bond.

I'm planning on writing for The Christmas Contract, a 2018 Lifetime Christmas movie starring One Tree Hill actors Hilarie Burton, Danneel Ackles, Antwon Tanner, Robert Buckley, and more.

I'm super excited this is back! I'm planning to write for The Mermaid's Daughter, an F/F Little Mermaid retelling that's a mashup between the original Hans Christian Andersen story and some elements from the Disney retelling.

I haven't used Dreamwidth in years and just discovered this, but it sounds fun! I think I'll try to write a story for "My Friend Janna", a short horror comic from the book "Through the Woods".

I'm not ESPECIALLY good at keeping up with deadlines, but I fully intend to write fanfic for either the 80s scifi radioshow The Secret of Dominion or the unloved 2004 deck-based strategy stealth game Metal Gear Ac!d! (Seriously with how fucking big Metal Gear fandom is there's *nothing* for MGA...????)

I have a few first fics I've been toying with but the one I'm most likely to do is for the sims handheld games (the loose canon created by Sims Bustin Out GBA, Urbz gba/ds, Sims 2 DS, and Sims 2 PSP).

I'm considering writing something for the HBO Asia original series Dream Raider.

Also considering the c-drama Sword Dynasty, but I want to confirm the rules for this first as it already has a few Chinese works as well as an English crossover - is it still fine to write for it?

I'm going to write for Murder Falcon (Daniel Warren Johnson, Image Comics, 2018) and Ladies of the Knight(web comic by FionaCreates).

This should be a lot of fun!
