I’m definitely going to TRY to write something for this I think I have an idea of which fandom I want to write about (wait is writing a fic from a book fandom ok?)

May I ask how you ended up on this post? This is the sign-ups from 2016, so I was a bit surprised to see you replying here. Just want to make sure I don't have a really outdated link somewhere that I've missed!

Oh my😳 I am literally so embarrassed ummm I think what I did was I somehow found the ao3 post off a random link while I was scrolling through tumblr and then at the bottom of the ao3 page was the link to here? Idk I wasn’t really paying attention. ( wait can I still write my fic?)

No worries at all, I just wanted to ask to make sure there weren't any outdated links on my end. There isn't anything like that on the AO3 page you mention, so I don't really know where you came from... *laughs* Well, even if it's a mystery, it doesn't matter -- of course you can still submit your fic! Good luck with the writing :)

Nope, the only links there leads to the main DW community and the FAQ -- not this sign-up from six years ago. But like I said, it's totally fine! You absolutely don't need to apologize or feel embarrassed; if anything it just brightened my day. So take it easy, write your fic(s), and then add it/them to the current collection. Also, if you'd like to advertise a little bit, you can use the fandom promo post. Good luck, looking forward to seeing what you write!
